Who Are We?

The Edmonton and area Fetal Alcohol Network Society (EFAN) is a collaborative venture made up of individuals from community agencies, governmental departments, and concerned citizens, who recognize the significant opportunity to achieve valuable social impacts through a grassroots partnership.

Our service area includes:

  • the Alexander First Nation community, the Enoch Cree Nation community, and the Paul First Nation community;
  • six cities: Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Leduc, St. Albert, Beaumont and Spruce Grove;
  • one specialized municipality, Strathcona County, which includes Sherwood Park;
  • three municipal districts: Leduc County, Parkland County, and Sturgeon County;
  • nine towns: Bon Accord, Bruderheim, Calmar, Devon, Gibbons, Legal, Morinville, Redwater, and Stony Plain;
  • four villages: Spring Lake, Thorsby, Wabamun, and Warburg;
  • eight summer villages: Betula Beach, Golden Days, Itaska Beach, Kapasiwin, Lakeview, Point Alison, Seba Beach, and Sundance Beach;

To provide community-driven services across the lifespan for FASD prevention, assessment and intervention, and supports for individuals and caregivers.
